Canon’s “My Image Garden” helps keep photos organized. Apps and other functions are available for labeling cds, printing cards, and creating other specialty items. Do go to the video instructions on Canon’s website for a clear instructional video on how to print a photo on a cd. It’s very helpful.

Copy and scan functions are easy to use, but you’ll need to find the SD card slot; it’s not on the outside of the printer. Online manuals and help are available on Canon’s website, and the printer will help you by giving you instructions on the printer’s screen. And don’t worry if you cannot hear the printer printing; it’s amazingly quiet.

For me, the next important question is how long the ink cartridges will last. I tend to print every day, saving things I cannot afford to loose.

This printer is a gem that I’ll be using for a long time to come.
